‘THE ROMANCE OF INDIAN COFFEE’ SHORTLISTED FOR GOURMAND FINALS

Indian author P.T. Bopanna’s book ‘The Romance of Indian Coffee’ has been shortlisted for the finals of the ‘Best in the World’ Gourmand International Award. 

According to an e-mail received recently by the author from the President of the Gourmand Awards in Spain, of the sixty four countries participating in the Gourmand Drinks Awards this year, nine books have been shortlisted under the coffee books category. 

The Best in the World will be announced at Yantai Wine Bay, China on May 28. The Gourmand Awards celebrate global cookbook and wine book publishing and feature many world-renowned chefs each year.     

The book ‘The Romance of Indian Coffee’, published in 2011, takes a 360 degree view of Indian coffee.
